Nothing gets lost
What was agreed, what you submitted, and what was built are recorded at each stage, so no decision depends on someone's memory of an email.
Process
Six stages, each with a clear purpose and a clear ask. You always know what stage the project is in, what is happening next, and what is needed from you.
Understand the business, the audience, and what the website actually has to achieve.
The project starts with the intake. BWS reviews the business, goals, services, audience, and current digital footprint before recommending anything.
Your part: Share business goals, services, and any existing website or brand context.
Agree the scope, structure, and conversion path in writing before the build starts.
Site architecture, the primary conversion path, content requirements, and technical direction are documented and confirmed, so the build works from an agreed plan.
Your part: Confirm scope, structure, and the primary action you want visitors to take.
Design system first, then pages, content, and integrations.
Tokens and components are built before page-specific work, so the site stays consistent and maintainable. Content is modelled so it can be updated without code changes.
Your part: Supply approved brand assets, content, and any required access.
A private staging site, reviewed together in one consolidated round.
The build is deployed privately with search indexing disabled. Feedback is collected in one consolidated round so changes stay coherent.
Your part: Review the staging site and return consolidated feedback.
Domain, DNS, and deployment coordinated deliberately — never by surprise.
Launch happens only with explicit authorisation, after QA, with the hosting and domain state checked first and a rollback path understood.
Your part: Authorise the launch and confirm domain ownership and access.
Documented handoff, then ongoing care if you want it.
You receive documentation of what was built and how it is deployed, and ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and content support can continue from there.
Your part: Decide whether to continue with ongoing care.
What stays behind the scenes
Approvals, verification, quality checks, and deployment controls run in the background. You see a clear process; the machinery stays out of your way.
What was agreed, what you submitted, and what was built are recorded at each stage, so no decision depends on someone's memory of an email.
Work in progress is deployed privately with search indexing disabled, and the information you provide is never published on a public page.
Going live is an explicit decision with the hosting and domain state checked first and a rollback path understood — never a surprise.
